We are convinced that we saw the same apple investigates “meaning,” the core of language. This title is a modification from the Apple Theory of Translation, by Margaret Sayers Peden, a Missouri translator. Language might appear as a fixed structure, but it is continually changing. Words are shapes that distort from their core original meaning. This installation uses cement, a permanent and steady material, to create hollow and fluid shapes.
